The sunlight slowly settles down on my forehead.
During this time of winter darkness, the diligent sun carefully checks on us, here and there, when it has time. It increases its intensity and slowly shoots out energy, one handful at a time.
A ray of strong sunlight enters my body and wakes me up.

햇살이 천천히 나의 이마 위에 내려앉는다.
겨울의 어둠이 길어지는 이 시기, 부지런한 태양은 틈이 날 때마다 여기저기를 살피듯 우리를 찾아온다. 태양은 빛의 농도를 조금씩 높이며, 한 움큼씩 에너지를 조심스럽게 내어 보낸다.
강렬한 한 줄기 햇살이 내 몸 안으로 스며들어 나를 깨운다.

오늘도 너의 하루는 눈부실 거야!!!
몸 안에서 낯선 소리가 들려온다.
마치 뼈와 뼈가 서로 닿는 소리처럼.
나는 햇살에게 도움을 청하며, 아침 햇살에 잠긴 가로수 아래에 지친 몸을 눕힌다. 깊이 잠들어 있던 몸을 햇빛 속에 맡긴다.
나는 거리로 나섰다…
햇살은 내 몸 구석구석으로 스며들어, 잠들어 있던 세포들을 다시 살아나게 한다.
이 얼마나 고마운 하루가 다시 시작되는가!
스쳐 지나가듯 포착된 한 순간의 역사가 참으로 놀랍다.
